What makes Aspen truly special is her story, she was found in the woods alongside a loyal hunting dog named Hachiko, who, instead of hunting her, became her best friend and protector. The two were inseparable, roaming the forest together until they were rescued and brought to the shelter. Having been raised by Hachiko, Aspen picked up many of his habits, she barks, leans on people for affection, and even follows the dogs’ potty & food routine.
