Polka is a bright and energetic poodle with a personality and a mind of her own. She’s friendly, confident, and loves her freedom, often asking to be let out for some solo time to explore and recharge. One of the smartest dogs in the shelter, Polka is well trained and skilled with all the training tools, she follows commands with ease when she’s in the mood. A little stubborn at times, she’ll sometimes refuse training right after her nap, preferring to stretch and take it slow before getting back to work. She was surrendered by her family when a new baby arrived, as her high energy and daily exercise needs became too much to manage.
